Prayer of Rededication

4 Understandings of Rededication

1. Understand that nothing can be rededicated that has not first been dedicated.

2. There are two reasons that the Holy Spirit has compelled you to rededicate:

      a. To repair a breach or gap in your fellowship with God caused by acts of sin.

      b. To establish a closer more intimate walk with Jesus.

     * Know that your sin does not disrupt your covenant with God, sin does cause you to feel guilty before God and lead you to disrupt your fellowship with Him.

3. You have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus that He shed on the cross; ratifying your covenant with God.  God sees you as righteous, not because of what you do, but because what Jesus did on your behalf.  God loves you and He is always willing to receive you, restore you and forgive you. (See 1 John 1:9).

Father God, you said in Your Word in 1 John 1:9, that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  I confess my sins to You now and repent. I make a quality decision to stay in Your Word and to fellowship with You, so that I may live life successfully. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

4. Enter into praise

Hallelujah!  It may seem to you that this is too simple, praise God that He is not trying to make it hard for you to have a loving, personal relationship with Him.  Accept by faith that you have been forgiven and restored and enjoy your life in God. Hallelujah!
