5 Understandings of Complete Salvation
- Recognize and admit that you are a sinner
Psalm 51:5
It's not so much what you've done, but the position you were born in.
- Repentance - a change of heart, a change of mind, a change of life, 180 degree turn from sin and towards God
Repentance doesn't meant that I am sorry, it means that I CHANGE
- Confess Romans 10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
- Baptism in water and in the Holy Spirit
Baptism in water is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is an outward sign of an inward change.
The Holy Spirit was given on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:32-33) and once you pray the prayer of Salvation, the Holy Spirit dwells within you. Speaking in tongues is received in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
- Live a life of obedience. Live for God. The only way to stay in constant fellowship with the Father and live life successfully.
