Spiritual warfare
is often subtle, crafty, and insipid. The
weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling
down of strong holds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Strong holds are a wall of thoughts. If our weapons
were intended to destroy the physical trials in our lives, then why were they
(weapons) designed to "pull down" a wall of thoughts? Perhaps it's not the trials
themselves, but how handling them affects our thinking. When we experience
trials and it appears that we have
lost the battle, do we begin to think differently about God? Any doubt will
delay the manifestation of our promises from God. If you were the enemy wouldn't you be trying
to cast doubt on God and His Word? The
warfare is battled in our mind. Stay focused on the victory that has already
been given to us. The enemy is defeated and we are and will forever be the
triumphant ones through Christ.
