Simply because we have known His name - His reputation, the fame of Him, His glory- His character; He promises to deliver us and 'set us on high'
Each time I read Psalm 91 I am reminded of how much God loves me - all of us. Each time I speak Psalm 91 I am strengthened on the inside to not be fearful.
Just as you know the terms of your auto insurance you should know the terms of Psalm 91. Auto insurance only covers our vehicles, Psalm 91 covers our life.
Our covenant has been confirmed by the blood of Jesus. It is irrevocable. It will never be broken. That is an assurance that insurance cannot provide!
You've heard that "what you see is what you get" likewise what you say is what you get. Do your best to speak positive even when it seems like all heck is breaking out around you.
If you were the enemy wouldn't you be trying to cast doubt on God and His Word? The warfare is battled in our mind. Stay focused on the victory...
The question is: Has the Body of Christ alienated others by maintaining an air of perfection and superiority? Is it possible that rather than drawing people to the light, we have repelled them from us as a stench?
Sleep in a tent? Nature as my bathroom? Bugs?!!! Are you kidding me? Camping - definitely not within my comfort zone.
Habakkuk 2:2 says: "…Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by."
The more you meditate on your God given vision the clearer it will become. You'll begin to change your thinking to line up with His will and in so doing your steps will be ordered by Him (see Proverbs 3:5-6).
